Mr. Clappison: To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office if she will list for (a) 1992-93, (b) 1993-94, (c) 1994-95, (d) 1995-96, (e) 1996-97, (f) 1997-98, (g) 1998-99, (h) 1999-2000 and (i) 2000-01, (I) her Department's total spending on quantitative and qualitative surveys of policy issues by focus groups, opinion polling, task forces or other means and (II) the cost of each individual project. Information prior to 1997-98 is not available because the Department's previous accounting systems did not enable expenditure on these services to be identified separately. I.
