Mr. Paul Marsden: To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment if he will list the allocations for literacy and numeracy funding for each school in Shrewsbury and Atcham; and if he will make a statement. [160514] Ms Estelle Morris: [holding answer 9 May 2001]: The allocations for literacy and numeracy for individual schools are determined by local education authorities, and the Department does not collect such information. For 2001-02, Shropshire LEA has been allocated £619,405 for the National Literacy Strategy and £669,904 for the National Numeracy Strategy.
