Question: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer to the honourable Member for North Tayside of 29th March, 365 c733W, on the cost of the clean-up operation of Holy Loch, what proportion of the cost has been met by the US Defense Department; and if he will make a statement. - The US Defense Department are not contributing to the cost of clearance nor are they legally obliged to do so.
