To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, when payments will be made under the compensation scheme for former Icelandic-water trawlermen; and if he will make a statement. - Includes figure.

Mr. McGrady: To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when payments will be made under the compensation scheme for former Icelandic-water trawlermen; and if he will make a statement. [158768] Mr. Byers: Over, 1,200 payments have already been made. I expect the bulk of the claims to be dealt with by the end of July.
