Question: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if he will make it his policy to consult the residents of Worcestershire before offering advice to Her Majesty the Queen on the name for the new hospital currently under construction in Worcester.

Answer: Mr. Luff: To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will make it his policy to consult the residents of Worcestershire before offering advice to Her Majesty the Queen on the name for the new hospital currently under construction in Worcester. [158481] Mr. Straw: In offering advice to Her Majesty The Queen on the use of royal names and titles, I will take into account the views of other appropriate Government Departments, and any other representations received. There is, of course, no guarantee of a successful outcome for any application to use a royal name or title.
