To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, how many retired officer billets are empty. - Inc figures.
Answer

Dr. Murrison: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many retired officer billets are empty. [82813] Dr. Moonie: There are presently 237 retired officer posts unfilled. Individuals have been appointed into 36 of these, but are yet to take up post.
