- To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, if she will make a statement about complaints from members of the public relating to information provided by electricity supply companies about reconnections of supply following the storm on 27th October; what her Department will do to analyse the response of the electricity industry to supply problems experienced as a result of the storms of 27th October; what plans she has to meet representitives of the electricity industry and discuss what lessons can be learnt as a result of supply problems following the storms of 27th October; and if she will make a statement on the performance of electricity companies in handling power supply problems in Norfolk following the storms of 27th October. - (Holding answer 4 November 2002).
