Question: To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the Answer of 26th January, 324 c235W, and his oral statement on the Budget, of 9th March, 327 c185, if he will make a statement on the difference between the two estimates of the number of pensioner households receiving winter fuel payments. - (Holding answer 25 March 1999).

Answer: Mr. Webb: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the answer of 26 January 1999, Official Report, column 235 and his oral statement on the Budget, of 9 March 1999, Official Report, column 185, if he will make a statement on the difference between the two estimates of the number of pensioner households receiving winter fuel payments.
