To ask the Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, what assessment her Department has made of the competitiveness of the creative industries in the UK in each year since 1996-97. - My Department is not able to make an accurate assessment of the competitiveness of the creative industries as figures are not yet available from the Office for National Statistics.
