To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, what plans he has for the introduction of an annual emissions test for all cars.
Answer

Mr. Jenkin: To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what plans he has for the introduction of an annual emissions test for all cars. [71078] Ms Glenda Jackson: All cars have their exhaust emissions performance checked in the MOT test. Cars are tested annually from their third year of registration and we have no plans to change this arrangement.
