To ask the Secretary of State for Health, how many hospital managers there are in the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Hospitals Trust. - Including figures.

David Davis: To ask the Secretary of State for Health how many hospital managers there are in the Hull and East Yorkshire NHS Hospitals Trust. [136059] Miss Melanie Johnson: There are 198 managers employed by Hull and East Yorkshire Hospitals National Health Service Trust as at 30 September 2002. This figure is a headcount. This figure includes 37 managers in posts that require them to be a qualified nurse, midwife or health visitor, a qualified therapist or a qualified scientist.
