To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what change there has been in the number of ISA holders who are (a) standard rate taxpayers and (b) higher rate taxpayers since the introduction of ISAs; how many people in each category held PEPs; and if he will make a statement. - Inc fact that not available in format requested and ref to 2001-02 Family Resources Survey, Table 9.7 in Library.

Dr. Cable:: To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what change there has been in the number of ISA holders who are (a) standard rate taxpayers and (b) higher rate taxpayers since the introduction of ISAs; how many people in each category held PEPs; and if he will make a statement.
