To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, on how many occasions, broken down by fire authority, in (a) 2001, (b) 2002 and (c) 2003 to date armed forces bomb disposal teams have been called out to provide assistance where the device has been (i) a firework and (ii) firework related; and what the total cost of such call outs has been. - Will write.

Mr. Tynan: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence on how many occasions, broken down by fire authority, in (a) 2001, (b) 2002 and (c) 2003 to date armed forces bomb disposal teams have been called out to provide assistance where the device has been (i) a firework and (ii) firework related; and what the total cost of such call- outs has been.
