- To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what proportion of overall UK casualties during the Iraq war were caused by friendly fire. - Fourteen percent of United Kingdom fatalities in Operation Telic were caused by friendly fire but, the information in respect of all other casualties is not held centrally.

Lynne Jones: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what proportion of overall UK casualties during the Iraq war were caused by friendly fire. [127037] Mr. Ingram: Fourteen percent of United Kingdom fatalities in Operation Telic were caused by friendly fire. The information in respect of all other casualties is not held centrally and could be provided only at disproportionate cost.
