- To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment, how many secondary school teachers in the subjects of (a) mathematics, (b) science, (c) languages and (d) technology left the teaching profession in each of the last 10 years for which figures are available; and how many secondary school teachers entered the profession in the same period. - Including table and fact that figures showing the number of secondary school teachers in the subject of (a) mathematics, (b) science, (c) languages and (d) technology leaving the profession are not held centrally.
