Question: To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, what estimate of the rate of inflation in September 2002 was used for the purposes of calculation of the revenue raised by non-indexation of allowances in financial year 2003-04 as set out in line 1 of table 1.2 of Budget 2002 (HC 592); and if he will make a statement. - Includes ref to table C3 of the 2002 Financial Statement and Budget Report.
