Mr. Jenkin: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what the (a) establishment and (b) strength is of the Joint NEC Regiment. [102555] Mr. Ingram: On the 1 February 2003 the strength of the Joint NEC Regiment was 498 against an establishment of 343. These figures reflect the fact that the Joint NEC Regiment has been augmented for Operation Telic.
