To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, if he will make it his policy to postpone the proposed decommissioning dates for (a) HMS Splendid and (b) HMS Sovereign pending the completion of the first Astute class submarines. - Ref to 3 February 2003 at 399 c52-67W.
