To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many fires there were in prisons between 1st January and the end of October, broken down by prison; and whether (a) prison staff and (b) prisoners were hurt in each case. - No figures. It has not proved possible to respond to the rt hon Member in the time available before Prorogation.
