Mr. Pike: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what recent discussions he has had with (a) interested parties and (b) other Departments on the allocation of contracts for clothing and other garments; and if he will make a statement. [197666] Mr. Ingram: My right hon. Friend has had discussions with a wide range of interested parties and other Departments regarding contracts for clothing and other garments, including members of both Houses of Parliament, trades unions, industry and the Department for Trade and Industry.
