Mr. Drew: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what discussions she has had with the insurance industry on the new Environment Agency maps of zones susceptible to flooding. [191097] Mr. Morley: My department has discussed the latest flood risk maps with both the Association of British Insurers (ABI) and the Environment Agency and I welcome their production. Defra, Environment Agency and ABI officials meet regularly to discuss progress against the ABI's Statement of Principles, which includes improved flood risk mapping. I am planning to meet the ABI later this year and this will provide an opportunity to discuss this issue further.
