- To provide for 1986-87, or latest figures, a breakdown of the reasons for the absence of consultants from NHS hospitals with regard to study leave, holidays, sick leave & other; what is the latest cost of providing locums for NHS consultants; how much of this is to cover the cost of study leave; & to provide comparable figures for previous years. - Not available centrally.
