Mr. Jack: To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what issues prevent him from ordering Tranche II of the Eurofighter Typhoon Contract. [167317] Mr. Ingram: I refer the hon. Member to the answer I gave on 12 February 2004, (Official Report, column 1634W), to my hon. Friend the Member for Pendle (Mr. Prentice). The negotiations are still ongoing and must be concluded before Tranche II can be ordered.
