(158403) The latest year for which the figures requested are available is 2002 and these are given, with figures for 1997, in the table. The codes used are listed as follows: Cancer (malignant neoplasms)--ICD-9 140-208; ICD-10 C00- C97; Coronary Heart Disease--ICD-9 410-414; ICD-10 I20-I25. 3 Usual residents of these areas. 4 Figures for the City of London are not presented in the table because the annual number of deaths is too small to calculate age- standardised mortality rates. 5 Deaths occurring in each calendar year in England and Wales, and deaths registered in each calendar year in Scotland and Northern Ireland.
