To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what assessment her Department has made of the effect of proposals for single farm payments on future land use.

Mr. Rendel: To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs what assessment her Department has made of the effect of proposals for single farm payments on future land use. [207866] Alun Michael: The Department has published an assessment of the economic impact in England of the single payment scheme. In addition, the Environment Agency has published projections of land use to 2015.
