Proceeding contribution from David TC Davies (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Monday, 17 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Transport (Wales) Bill.
Transport (Wales) Bill
No doubt all Members will be pleased that my hon. Friend is so open-minded. Is he aware that the Liberal Democrat Welsh Assembly Member for South Wales West is less liberal on the issue? He said:"““I would far rather continue to improve pinch points on the A470 and A483 and use this money to subsidise a good rail service””" than put it into air services. Is not it about time that the Liberal Democrats got a coherent transport policy on this matter?
