Proceeding contribution from Lord Greaves (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 25 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].

Commons Bill [HL]

I am grateful for that detailed reply. As always, I will take away what the Minister said and consider it. I think that what he said about express grants was a very firm yes to my question on whether a landowner could turn his land into a common if he wished to do so. If that is the case, it is extremely helpful and useful. Having said that, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
