Proceeding contribution from Earl of Caithness (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 25 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].
Commons Bill [HL]
I very much hope that the words ““agricultural sustainability”” will not be in the Bill. I said so at Second Reading. If my memory serves me right, horses are not agricultural and therefore the noble Lord, Lord Williams of Elvel, who I think has one sheep, is allowed the equivalent of a quarter of a horse on his land.
