Proceeding contribution from Lord Bach (Labour) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 25 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].
Commons Bill [HL]
The noble Lord has asked big questions, which arise out of the debate. They will be part of our consideration. I intend to write to noble Lords when we have had a chance to consider our position on the noble Lord’s points. We will give noble Lords plenty of time to consider what the Government propose to do with the Bill so that they can put down amendments if they are not happy. On Question, amendment agreed to. [Amendments Nos. 28 to 30 not moved.]
