Does the right hon. Gentleman agree that the situation since the bombings in July has made the problem worse, and that many Muslims feel greatly under threat? That is because of a perceived sense of collective responsibility, which relates to the media and to Government policy because of stop and search powers and proposed powers to close mosques. There is a real sense of fear and of grief among the Muslim community about what has happened.
