Proceeding contribution from James Clappison (Conservative) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 27 October 2005. It occurred during Adjournment debate on Terrorism and Community Relations.

Terrorism and Community Relations

: I agree strongly with the hon. Lady. Does she share my concern, on reading the Government's paper on extremism among young Muslims, that ““well educated undergraduates”” are"““often targeted by extremist recruiters circulating among university-based religious or ethnic societies””?" Does she agree that, if we had known a little more about that and if the paper had been available to us, we could have taken more evidence on the issue in our inquiry?
