Proceeding contribution from Chris Bryant (Labour) in the House of Commons on Thursday, 3 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee of the Whole House (HC) on Terrorism Bill.
Terrorism Bill
I sympathise with what the hon. Gentleman says. However, I wonder whether the problem lies in the last ββhisββ in subsection (1). Whose intention are we talking about? If the clause referred to the intention of the person who was going to commit the act of terrorism himself, that would be different from the intention of the person who was merely assisting.
