Proceeding contribution from Lord Chorley (Crossbench) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].

Commons Bill [HL]

I feel I must come in on the subject of bracken since we are having a field day. I have a lot of bracken. Gorse is included in the Bill, and I should have thought that bracken was much more important. The way that bracken is increasing, even with the older stocking rates, is pretty appalling. It will become a very serious problem in the years ahead.
