Proceeding contribution from Lord Williams of Elvel (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].

Commons Bill [HL]

Before the noble Baroness decides what to do with her amendment, perhaps I may reinforce her argument about right of access across common land. I am afraid that it is still slightly confused. My noble friend helpfully wrote to us on a number of points and it would be useful for the Committee to have a letter from him spelling out exactly where we are on right of access across common land.
