Proceeding contribution from Baroness Byford (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].
Commons Bill [HL]
I am grateful to the Minister for tabling these two amendments. It was in response to our earlier long deliberations. We believe that it strikes a reasonable balance between the empowering of the association to manage the common while respecting the rights of the owners. Under those circumstances, I shall not move my amendment when it is called.
