Proceeding contribution from Lord Roberts of Llandudno (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL].
Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]
My Lords, I am delighted by the positive response from the Minister and by his reference to the increasing authority of the National Assembly for Wales. I hope that that will soon be conveyed to us in the new government of Wales measure. So, hoping for good news in the future, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. Schedule 2 [Persons whose functions are subject to review under section 3]: [Amendment No. 12 not moved.]
