Proceeding contribution from Lord Roberts of Conwy (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 9 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill on Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL].

Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]

My Lords, I am grateful to the Minister for what he has said and his assurance that we shall not be at a loss in Wales simply because our commissioner starts with people aged 60 while Opportunity Age in England declares 50 to be an appropriate starting point. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
