Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]

My noble friend Lord Prys-Davies raised some interesting points last week and has made more interesting points this afternoon. Our view is that the Bill as drafted already provides for the commissioner to examine situations where a body has failed to take account of best practice guidance. Nevertheless, I am happy to reflect on the principle behind the amendments and to return to the matter at a later stage in the Bill. With that fairly direct assurance, I hope my noble friend will be able to withdraw his amendment.
