Proceeding contribution from Lord Prys-Davies (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 26 October 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL].

Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]

Yes, but in Committee last week Amendment No. 60 was grouped with another amendment or amendments. I asked at the time for it to be degrouped but, in responding to the entire group, my noble friend disclosed why the amendment would not be acceptable. I want to move the amendment, but I am quite content not to do so today. I shall come back to the matter when we consider the Bill on Report. For that reason, I shall not press for it to be moved today. [Amendment No. 60 not moved.] Schedule 3 [Persons whose arrangements are subject to review and monitoring under section 5]: [Amendment No. 61 not moved.]
