Commissioner for Older People (Wales) Bill [HL]

I thank the Minister for his reply but I am still unhappy about the inability of, say, the UK Government to know exactly what the guidelines for the commissioner for elderly folk in Wales are. The reason is that people move away from Wales. We have agreed that the commissioner will have some authority for them if they use social services such as care in Cheshire, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Shropshire or such places. Yet the UK Government will not have given those councils the guidelines that councils within Wales will have received. I am certain that the Minister will somehow see his way to consider this again, just to ensure that the commissioner is able to fulfil the duties that I was previously told were his responsibility. Knowing that the Minister is fair-minded, I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
