Proceeding contribution from Lord Livsey of Talgarth (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Tuesday, 1 November 2005. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Commons Bill [HL].
Commons Bill [HL]
I declare an interest as a cricketer of some 40 summer seasons. I support the amendment tabled by my noble friend Lord Greaves but if, as he says, it is not possible to accept it, I shall most certainly support the amendment moved by the noble Lord, Lord Vinson. The proposal is only right and proper and would add to the character of our countryside.
