In responding to the debate, particularly to the last point that the Minister made, I largely agree that it is impossible to right many of the wrongs that were made as the result of the 1965 Act; in fact, that is one of the reasons why we have a new Bill before us now. One or two cases of serious injustices occurred, and the Minister will find that the next amendment to be debated, Amendment No. 81B, recognises something in particular on a point of law. So I shall leave that matter until then. The Minister should not underestimate the feeling among a small number of commoners who feel that they have been severely wronged as a result of what has happened in the past. Indeed, in some instances, they have been ignorant of the situation. He will probably get some continuing representations about this, but there is a clause for correction in the Bill, which is important. In one sense we have to move on, but some of the issues will probably linger a little. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn. [Amendments Nos. 79A to 81A not moved.]
