Natural Environment and Rural Communities Bill
No one saw my presence in this House as a greater honour than I did. I am also aware that other people have not been in the fortunate position where, had they been asked to become a Member of your Lordships’ House, they could have afforded to pay the mortgage on their family home and educate their children by giving up full-time paid employment.
