Proceeding contribution from Baroness Noakes (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Thursday, 26 January 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on National Insurance Contributions Bill.
National Insurance Contributions Bill
I thank the Minister for that. I had probably not absorbed the PMG’s Statement as a government commitment—indeed, as phrased, it is not absolutely a government commitment. But I take the sense that the Government, in the ordinary course, would expect to do that, and we must take their word on that. I beg leave to withdraw the amendment. Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
