Proceeding contribution from Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts (Conservative) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 1 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].

Company Law Reform Bill [HL]

I do not think that the Minister said the right words. He said, ““And the demand is subsequently withdrawn””. He meant, ““is not subsequently withdrawn””. I say that so that the record is right. I am sure that he meant to read out the correct words. I listened carefully to what the Minister said and I do not believe that he included the negative, but I am sure that he meant to.
