Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
I am afraid that I am going to produce a mouse rather than a mountain. Clause 328 is on the power of the Secretary of State to limit or extend the types of companies to which the provisions in this chapter apply. Clearly, we are unhappy about this chapter. Any change seems to us to be even more undesirable, because this is a poor chapter for the reasons that my noble friend and the noble Lord, Lord Sharman, have already spoken about. We neither want it to be extended nor limited in any way.
