Proceeding contribution from Lord Razzall (Liberal Democrat) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 1 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].

Company Law Reform Bill [HL]

had given notice of his intention to move Amendment No. 301ZB:"Page 150, line 34, after first ““of”” insert—" ““(i)   another UK company, or (ii)””    The noble Lord said: With swift analysis verbally, I suspect that the amendment that we have just agreed to deals with the purpose for which we produced Amendment No. 301ZB. The idea was that for this purpose the definition of relevant holding company should be that in Clause 343(4). I think that is what the Minister just said, and his officials are nodding in agreement. I assume that will be confirmed in Hansard in any event. [Amendment No. 301ZB not moved.]
