Company Law Reform Bill [HL]

I very much doubt whether my noble friend will say that, certainly not in the provocative terms just used by the noble Lord, Lord Hodgson. The Government’s position—I say this to ascertain whether I am right about this—is that Clause 156 does make a difference. This is a reforming Bill that makes a difference in terms of information on employment and the environment. It goes beyond simply codifying what already exists. For that reason we both have an interest in the question now being put to my noble friend.
