Proceeding contribution from Lord McKenzie of Luton (Labour) in the House of Lords on Wednesday, 1 March 2006. It occurred during Debate on bill and Committee proceeding on Company Law Reform Bill [HL].
Company Law Reform Bill [HL]
Perhaps the best thing that I can do to help my noble friend is ensure that he receives a copy of the report by Deloitte & Touche, which the Government commissioned to look into those matters. He will be able to examine the evidence and form his own judgment. That is the best information I can provide relatively quickly.
