moved Amendment No. A216A:"Page 365, line 23, at end insert—" ““(   )   For section 744A of the Companies Act 1985 (c. 6) substitute— ““744A   INDEX OF DEFINED EXPRESSIONS    For an index which includes entries for provisions defining or otherwise explaining expressions used in this Act, see Schedule (Index of defined expressions) to the Company Law Reform Act 2006.””.””. The noble Lord said: Schedule 9 is an index showing where certain expressions are defined in the Bill or elsewhere. Since it is merely an index, technically speaking it has no legal effect. However, it is clearly a very useful document to users of the Bill, but the current version is not as complete as it could be in setting out definitions for all relevant expressions and is a little inconsistent in its approach to what is and is not included. The new version provided for by these amendments takes the opportunity for a more systematic and inclusive approach. I beg to move. On Question, amendment agreed to.
